The City of Calgary is introducing a Housing Land Fund to acquire land for affordable housing development. The fund aims to free up surplus city-owned sites, focus on under-served communities, and improve land for non- and mixed-market housing. The fund will be managed by the Housing Solutions department and has a budget of $20M.
