Calgary has recently dropped to the 11th most expensive city for renting in Canada, with a one-bedroom rental price increase of just 1.7% since July 2023. The cost for a two-bedroom rose by 2.7% over the last month. Edmonton saw a significant annual increase of 18.6% for one-bedroom rentals. Vancouver experienced a decline in one-bedroom rents for the third consecutive month, attributed to a surge in apartment construction. Winnipeg continues to have the fastest-growing rents, with one-bedroom prices up over 23% year-over-year.
